Loss Prevention Bulletin – 3 August 2017

Pirates who boarded a cargo vessel off the coast of Bonny on 30 July kidnapped two officers and three crew members. The pirates boarded the Panama-flagged merchant vessel OYA 1 some 15 nm southwest of Bonny Island. The Nigerian Navy towed the ship to a safe port for investigation following the attack. There were no immediate ransom demands reported.
