Step 1 – establishing the cover your fleet requires

The cost of Membership will depend on the number and type of ships in your fleet, their value, the risks they encounter in their everyday operation and the geographic regions they work in. You can use our online forms or contact our underwriting team to discuss the details.

Step 2 – initial quotation

We can often raise an initial quotation within 48 hours. Unlike non-specialist providers, the club underwrites your ship or fleet itself. This simplifies the process for our Members and keeps costs competitive.

Step 3 – due diligence and compliance

Many Hellenic ships have sophisticated financing, which means that multiple parties will require proof of cover and compliance with various levels of protection. The Hellenic War Risks Club will take care of these issues, liaising with relevant third parties to get cover in place, quickly and efficiently.

Additional Premiums for high-risk areas

To keep overall policy costs down, the Hellenic War Risks Club calculates premiums on your ships’ standard operating schedule and then applies an Additional Premium as and when each individual ship enters a known high-risk area. One call to the team is all you need to organise Additional Premiums.
